Basic, clean rooms offer excellent value. Excellent location makes it easy to reach major attractions on foot.
Access to entry is confusing, especially for newcomers. Dark doors and poor signage can leave you fumbling in the rain. Walls are thin, resulting in excess street noise that may disturb your peace. Some amenities feel outdated, like the old fridge that didn't work, cluttering the space.

Stayed in bright guest room with coffee/tea making facilities, coffee/tea plus a balcony. The location was marvellous and fantastic - just off sights, such as cathedral, palace, Prado.
Well internet connection was low, and there was very small bed in my room.

A storage space and a writing table available in the king room. Marvellous spot near to Gran Via, the center, and many tourist attractions and restaurants, pubs, discos. Also, near to stations.

The location of Hostal Bianco is a major plus, with just a short walk to city center, including the bustling Gran Via and Plaza Mayor. My room had a modern ensuite bathroom and was kept very clean throughout my stay. There was good heat, comforting since it was chilly in the evenings. Access to the hostal was confusing, especially with dark wooden doors that lack clear signage. Arriving in the rain made it more challenging to figure out how to enter, but I appreciated that some friendly guests helped me. While the basic amenities functioned well, the aesthetic could use an upgrade. An old, non-functioning fridge cluttered my room, and there was no electric kettle available for making tea or coffee. A good stay, but improvements on the entryway and room organization are needed.

Absolutely terrible experience, I reminded me of I was in a smelly backpacker's hostel. The thin walls made me hear showers and awful noises from other rooms. I was really looking forward to a complimentary gesture, but it seems I was just a regular guest here. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The centrality of the location. The price was fantastic. The rooms...a little noisy, but very very clean, modern, and very comfortable, the hotel was secure, the staff were immensely helpful. I would recommend this hostel to anyone wanting to be in central Madrid, in a quite but incredibly interesting street, and close to the Plaza Mayor, El retiro and el Prado. I speak Spanish but the staff are new and like to practise their English. The raring it has reflects the quality and the simplicity of the hostel
Dont get the room right next to the front door. A very comfortable room but just a little too noisy with guests coming and going. Saying that, I would still take it, if there was nothing else, I enjoyed my stay there so much.

The receptionists (both the day and night duty ones) were very accommodating and helpful. They do not understand English at all, with the help of google, we managed to communicate and my requests for hot water and storage of luggage were met.

The location
The first room that they gave me was next to the entrance, so it was very noisy. Then they changed me and it was ok.
